Summary
This book contains 15 articles (11 in German, 4 in English) from three thematic areas: 1. migration, 2. intercultural communication in education, languages, translation, sports, law and economics, 3. workless youth in Europe and the worldwide distribution of wealth. The articles are of different length and quality. Concerning migration and distribution of wealth, they show a critical disatnce to EU politics and neo-liberal economy. Some texts contain commonplaces and some do not meet prototypical German standard. Title and subtitle are not completely correct: There is no history of Intercutural Communication and the comments on „Europe´s problems“ concern only migration and youth. The book may be seen as exhibitive for the Bratislava Economic University and from that it may be interesting for academic colleagues to check.
