Summery

This book deals with an interesting approach for human dwelling It is part I of three parts and is focussed on the question how a human living space must be shaped. The author’s subject is to formulate a theory of dwelling that is able to explain dwelling in an interdisciplinary context. Each of the scientific disciplines should be able to make a contribution to a theory of dwelling. The author himself comes from the psychology of dwelling and asks, which influence the dwelling und its environment have on the dweller and how the dweller can influence his dwelling environment, so that a human living space can be realized.
