Summary
The anthology „Geschlechtliche, sexuelle und reproduktive Selbstbestimmung. Praxisorientierte Zugänge“ (Sex/gender-related, Sexual and Reproductive Self-determination. Practical Approaches) collects 15 papers which discuss the auto-determination and autonomy of marginalized minorities with regard to gender, sex, sexual orientation and sexuality, as well as reproductive rights. They provide impulses on how to strengthen the actual autonomy of these groups in professional contexts in the fields of (sexual) education, social work, therapy and other. Neglected groups such as intersexual and asexual persons are particularly high-profiled. This factor and the large space which is given to personal experiences of these groups are of interest not only for professionals, but for academics alike. Additionally, the often unprecedented perspectives invite to further reflection and discussion.
