Summary
This book pays the attention to the relationship of emancipation and social work in the development of cities. In 17 articles discuss the authors different perspectives and accesses to this relationship. What means emancipation in the development of cities and in the city planning and what is the contribution of social work in this context? Is participation in the city planning a way of emancipation and from what should city development be liberated and what is the theoretical understanding of emancipation in social work? These questions should be further discussed in order to develop social work and city development. This book is an interesting approach to do this.
