Summary

The present work is based on anthroposophic pedagogy, is a deeply human, theoretically sound and above all application-oriented book. Following a theoretical introduction to the themes of art and the phenomenon of trauma, the practical section presents a large number of art-oriented exercises for children in acute emergency situations. The danger of indirect traumatization of the helpers is addressed, and a link is made to the significance of art for peace and the current social task from an anthroposophical perspective. Reading the book is highly recommended to all those interested in education and those active in the field, as well as all students in social and educational fields.
