An excellent study was presented that provides precise information about violence by staff and among young people in the residential care for children and adolescents. Furthermore, based on the findings, the author is able to point out comprehensive measures to prevent forms of violence. Despite the very scientific style of the volume, which is due to the publication of a dissertation, it is a highly recommended book for all organisational levels of residential care and for the science and teaching of social work.
