Summary
The art lexicon gives a very good overview of the entire variety of terms that are relevant in art lessons/cultural education.
Art education specialists can thus briefly get to know current approaches and discussion bases in art education/art science and incorporate them into their methodological and didactic considerations. Especially with regard to current requirements regarding the topic of migration and inclusion in art lessons, the lexicon offers help to quickly get to know the current state of information. In this respect, the work can be highlighted as a successful compendium.
As a conclusion, a purchase recommendation can be given for the lexicon of art education. It is helpful to give a quick insight into the current art education/art science discussion and should not be missing from any academic library.
