Summary

The "Selected Writings" is the most comprehensive publication on the life and oeuvre of S.H. Foulkes. It is to be hoped that this volume will become a standard work for group analysts, but also for all those interested in group analysis and history. After reading the book, it also becomes clear why S.H. Foulkes stated in 1946 that "group analysis is far less, but also far more than psychoanalysis in groups". (p. 209)
