Summary
Current education seems to be in a “dilemma” of thinking too one-dimensionally about performance and performance assessment, not assessing people concretely enough and therefore focusing more on comparability. The book “softens” this comparability a little and shows ways of thinking in a success-oriented way and viewing the deficit-oriented thinking, which is demonstrated solely by a grade, as an opportunity for (positive) development. Impressively formulated, it focuses on an education in which grades are not a top priority.
