Summary

With this volume, the author succeeds in providing readers with a theoretically sound, practical and comprehensible overview of the theoretical foundations of so-called secondary traumatization. Readers are provided with a wealth of information on understanding traumatic processes and how they are transferred from one person to another; in future, I will also talk about the traumatization of others instead of secondary traumatization. In addition to trauma counselors and trauma therapists, other mental health professionals will also receive important suggestions for their practice.
