Summary
This book provides a compact overview of an important component of social-psychological care. Social inclusion and support as an important factor for overall social health has been and will remain an important topic within social work science. From a scientific perspective (and this is also clearly addressed by the authors), the field of health-related clinical social work must be further researched and, above all, there must be implications for practice (cf. Sommerfeld et al. 2011; coherent body of knowledge). For practitioners of clinical social work, this book is interesting to read because it attempts precisely this theory-practice transfer and for purely scientifically interested readers, interesting research ideas and concepts are presented.
