Summary

This book uses the example of law studies and the legal examination to illustrate a problem that needs to be considered for university studies in general: that students are put under too much psychological pressure by certain requirements of the study and examination regulations. From an ethical and constitutional point of view, mental health is a highly protected good. Further research, including interdisciplinary research, is needed to analyse desiderata for the protection of mental health at universities and to develop structural proposals for improvement.
