Summary

The approach underpinning the recommendations for action is characterised by a deep respect for all children. A fundamental spirit of goodwill is also extended to children and young people prone to violence, without, however, downplaying the seriousness of their violent behaviour. This goodwill towards children with behavioural difficulties goes hand in hand with a clear and unequivocal rejection of all forms of violence. This is what makes this book so valuable. It can serve as a basis for further training for teams of teachers in schools and is therefore also highly recommended to all school heads.
