Summary

The volume by Kerschgens & Schubert is theoretically sophisticated and yet, thanks to the close connection with the selected, extremely meaningful casuistic material, very easy to understand. To summarise, it can be said that only the consideration of affective group events, including the reflection of affect that this makes possible, releases the pupils' curiosity about the subject matter at school. This book should be declared compulsory reading.
