Summary

The book is a nuanced, academically rigorous anthology that convincingly combines research into masculinity, social analysis and reflection on practice. Whilst it does not always fully live up to its practical aspirations, the work nonetheless provides an excellent foundation for teaching, counselling, prevention and gender-sensitive social work.
